Environmental Education

Want to be a more conscious cruiser? Learn how.

Greening Headquarters on JC7 was located in the beautiful Amber Bar on the MSC Orchestra. During our 5 day journey, greening HQ became a hub for education and passenger participation. The green team provides education and inspiration to our passengers not only on the ship but throughout the year.

The Jam Cruise education plan is packaged into 5 key messages:
1)Put waste in its place
2)Reduce and Reuse
3)Balance Your Carbon Footprint
4)Leave a Positive Legacy
5)Live Like a ZeroHero Everyday

The 5 key messages are a call to action! We need to take these lessons and apply them to our daily lives. It is heroic to live with low-impact on this planet and to see yourself as part of a connected global community.

JC7 Greening Panel Discussion: How Music, Sustainability, and Social Change Jam Together!

This was a participatory event for environmental activists, artists, and fans to discuss and learn about greening on Jam Cruise as well as the synergy of music, social change and sustainability occurring beyond the mother ship. Our goal was to stimulate minds and inspire action. Panelists included JC artists George Porter Jr. and Cyro Baptista, activists Ann Kenworthy and John Long from the green team, and Paul Diaz with Tree Power & Sound. Moderated by none other than Captain Toast!
