  • HeadCount Gives Positive Legacy Some Love

Fans and artists on Jam Cruise 8 participated in an intercultural celebration in Jamaica and learned about reef protection in Grand Cayman - donating time, money, and resources.

"Music just touches a place deep inside people that makes them feel really good," said Leaving a Positive Legacy's Ann Kenworthy. "And when they're feeling really good, they want to put that good energy back into the world." It seems natural, then, that organizers of some of the feel-goodiest events of the year - Jam Cruise and Caribbean Holidaze - would launch a nonprofit aimed at putting that good energy back into the communities they visit. Fans and artists on Jam Cruise 8 participated in an intercultural celebration in Jamaica and learned about reef protection in Grand Cayman - donating time, money, and resources.

  • Sexual Chocolate Rises Again!

Karl Denson brings the love on board - the reunion of a lifetime

It all started in 1988, our beloved Karl Denson joined forces with Eddie Murphy as they performed during the legendary movie "Coming to America." The band Sexual Chocolate was born. Years later, Karl couldn't let such a good thing go down in history never to arise again. Therefore, KDTU delicately and professionally kept the dream alive with TWO renditions over the years, Sexual and Trexual Chocolate.

The phenomenon reunites on Jam Cruise.

All people who pre-booked should have received an email with their Cloud 9 ID, Password, and Token along with the day/time that the token goes live. A "token" is simply the unique code that you will use to access the booking pages. The token will go live at a specific time based on the priority of your pre-book; this is the only way to access the booking pages to choose any of the available inventory prior to the general on sale. If you have pre-booked multiple times, you will receive one token for each pre-book, as each cabin must be booked seperately. Only one cabin can be booked per token and tokens are non-transferable. Any reservation placed where the "Lead Passenger" (the person that placed the reservation) is not the token holder will be cancelled. All people who pre-booked will have the opportunity to book their cabin prior to the general on sale on June 4. If you have any questions, our travel department is available to assist you. • JC8 sails January 3-8, 2010

On board the MSC Poesia, Jam Cruise will visit the tranquil ports of Ocho Rios, Jamaica and George Town, Cayman Islands

Jam Cruise 8 will set sail January 3-8, 2010 on board the beautiful MSC Poesia. Departing Port Everglades in Ft Lauderdale, we will visit the tropical ports of Ocho Rios, Jamaica and George Town, Cayman Islands for 5 glorious days and nights. Once you set foot on the Poesia, the sister ship to the Orchestra of Jam Cruise 7, it’s meaning becomes apparent. Poesia means poetry; much like that which fills our ears and our souls from the stages, the simple elegance of this beautiful ship is the perfect floating oasis. While in Jamaica, zipline through the jungle or hike to Dunn's River Falls. The Caymans are known for crystal blue waters, ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving.
